Building on the foundation laid in Olé’s three previous branches, our goal was to push forward a timeless transient ephemeral experience for the diners in this new location. Maximizing the diner’s experience, we utilized a grand staircase to serve as the focal point for this branch. A new chapter is told in the story of the mint green and soft pink protagonists to play against the terracotta pop element antagonist further stimulating the senses.
In keeping with the identity of Olé, the color palette marries and merges creating the focal point of the restaurant. Maintaining the transient ephemeral experience and the limitations of a dim space, we added monochromatic faux plants for an organic touch. Utilizing the classical trick of floor to ceiling mirrors adding depth to a space, they perform as an extension to the design, completing the half forms that were created as custom fixtures.
